Pierre de Blois Award

APEX is a not-for-profit organization, and as such is fully aware of the crucial role of volunteers. Without the devotion of the many executives who join APEX committees and support numerous activities, the Association could not be as effective in serving its members and the Public Service. The same holds true for the many community organizations that count on dedicated volunteers to support the well-being of our society.

For that reason, APEX highlights the work of outstanding executives whose sense of commitment to public service transcends the traditional boundaries of their profession and who, through their extensive volunteer contributions to the community, have served over the years as effective ambassadors for the Public Service.

The Pierre de Blois Award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions both to the Public Service and to their community. Unlike APEX’s other honours, the Pierre de Blois Award will not be presented every year, but will be conferred as especially deserving candidates are identified. To highlight the congruence between the Association’s values and those of the recipient, APEX is the sole sponsor of this award.
