  • Mental Health Joint Task Force Releases Second Report

    On May 31, 2016, the President of the Treasury Board, the Honourable Scott Brison, and his co-chair, the National President of Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), Robyn Benson, welcomed the release of the second report by the Mental Health Joint Task Force.

    As a member of the Technical Committee, APEX is proud to continue to contribute to this important work on behalf of its members and we applaud the Government's ongoing commitment to this important issue.  We look forward to continuing our efforts to strengthen the Public Service and supporting the advancement of concrete actions to improve mental health in the workplace.

APEX'S "InfoBytes" SERIES CONTINUES - FREE BILINGUAL INFORMATION SESSIONS/WEBINARS  

APEX's 'InfoBytes' series was a tremendous success and we plan to continue to offer one-hour sessions on different topics of interest to executives on a continual basis.  You can attend individual sessions in person or via Webinar.  In an effort to continue to reach out to all our regional members, all sessions will be held between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. (Ottawa Time).

Happy New (Fiscal) Year,

The last couple of months have been busy ones for APEX.   I thought I would share with you some of our recent activities.

Planning and preparations are well advanced for our APEX Symposium 2016 in Ottawa on May 31 and June 1.  We are putting the finishing touches on an agenda that fully befits the premier development and networking event for federal public service executives. The agenda has been posted and registration is now open.
